Flowers remain reddish or lightish brown as they fade, branched glomeruli (flower clusters), entire leaf hairy
Ecology UK: Fairly common Western and Northern areas (SW, Wales, Scotland). Damp, acidic, usually shaded habitats in lowland woods, often beside streams, on peaty heaths and moors, and on rock ledges and rocky streamsides in mountainous region
Distribution outside France: Central and Western Europe; Asia Minor; Caucasia
Fleurs : brunâtres, sessiles, glomérulées par 2-6 ; périanthe à divisions égales, lancéolées-acuminées; anthères bien plus longues que le filet
Floraison France : Mai-juillet.
Flowers: brown, sessile, 2-6 per group. Perianth with equal divisions, laceolate-acuminate, anthers much longer than their stalk.
